Small Voltage/Ampmeter in a leather case. These were used by the US Army Signal Corps. On this case, the letters "SIGNAL CORPS U.S. ARMY" have been removed.

The mirror scale has the ranges 0 to 3, 0 to 15 and 0 to 150.

On top there are 4 big connectors for current measuring, labelled "3 Amps", "15 Amps", "30 Amps" and "Amps. or Volts +". At the bottom, connectors for Voltage measuring "150 Volts", "15 Volts" and "3 Volts". There is also a button "PRESS FOR VOLTAGE". Voltage is only shown when this button is pressed.

The model 280 was marketed as a precision portable meter and could be get in a number of ranges.
