Wooden block made with a "trap" shape. Starts from 1 cm till 6 cm in steps of 1/2 cm (approx). In the bblock, there ois a hole which contains a tape measure. One side of the tape measure is marked in centimeters. On the other side, there is a range marked "Engl. Size" which seems to be in 1/3 inch units. There is also a range "Stitch" of which 1 unit seems to be 2/3 cm (6.667 mm).
