Nestler SLide Rule No 23 (System Rietz) in wooden box (assume student made). The celluloid is also secured to the mahogany base by little screws at both ends.
The back shows a.o. densities for prism, cylinder, sphere for different materials. Also Specific French and English old measurements (toise, pied). Next also specials constants, temperature extension, strenght of materials.
(a) Seems Nestler stopped adding screws around 1940
