Info

Unknown spherometer.

In the central axis, there is a moveable rod that will, upon contact with the surface to be measured, be pushed upward. This will lift a first lever that will in turn lift the second lever. As such the leverage for indicating if the point touches the surface is quite big. As rudely calculated from a close-up, a movement of the center axle by 0.01 mm would rise the needle indicator by 0.01 x (28.5/1.5) x (36.5/1.9) = 3.65 mm.
