Double Folding Rule made of Boxwood with Brass Hinges and Endcaps.
Unfolded length is 24 inches.
On the beveled side, markings for 1/2, 1/4 and 1/8 inch divisions. On the other beveled side, markings for 3/8, 1/5, 3/4 and 1/10.
The wooden part is made of 3 layers of boxwood.
Seems one of the layers has shown a crack which has been repaired with a red copper rivet.
